ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Maula Bakhsh Chandio on Thursday said Pakistan People's Party (PPP) government would establish the Seraiki province before completion of its tenure.

Speaking to media representatives, he said the PPP has always supported the voice of the masses and resolved their issues according to their demands.

To a question, he said that President Asif Ali Zardari’s fifth address to the joint session of Parliament would be a landmark achievement of the democratic government.

It would be for the first time in country's history that an elected president would address the joint sitting of the Parliament for the fifth time consecutively, he said.

To a question, he said that record numbers of legislation had taken place during the last four years with reconciliation.

He said the democratic government was taking all possible measures for welfare of the public.
