ISLAMABAD: Secretary Information of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Qamar Zaman Kaira has said all the political parties wanted continuation of the political process in the country.

Talking to a private television channel, Kaira said he was not expecting general elections during the year as all the parties were in favour of a stable democratic system in the country. The PPP-led government would complete its five-year tenure, he added.

He rejected the allegations of horse-trading in the Senate elections.

Replying to a question, he said the funds distributed among the senators of Balochistan were meant for development projects in the province.

Qamar Zaman Kaira said that there was a need of concerted efforts by all the stakeholders to resolve the issues of Balochistan.
