LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Tuesday postponed the hearing of the petition filed against Babar Awan’s eligibility as senator till March 1st, DawnNews reported.

Awan pleaded during the hearing that he wanted to appear before the court because it was the matter of his political career.

In response to Awan’s statement, Justice Omar Ata Bandial said that judicial proceedings follow constitution and law and these proceedings might not be in accordance with the personal wishes.

LHC summoned former Advocate General Khuwaja Haris to determine the worth of his hearing in this case.
