SC commences PM's appeal hearing

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Friday resumed the intra-court hearing on the appeal of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, DawnNews reported.

The eight-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry was hearing the case.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court had adjourned the hearing of the intra-court appeal challenging the Supreme Court’s order in a contempt case against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry had directed Aitzaz Ahsan, the Prime Minister’s counsel, to complete his arguments on Friday by 10.30 am.
