KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said that his party would not allow the division of Sindh adding that ‘certain elements’ were trying to provoke a clash among the people of Sindh, DawnNews reported.

In a telephonic address to MQM office-bearers and workers in Sukkur, the MQM chief said that certain opportunist elements were using the 20th constitutional amendment bill for their negative propaganda.

Hussain further said that important disclosures and announcements would be made in the upcoming public meeting in Sukkur. He claimed that the public meeting would be the last nail in the coffin of the ‘enemies of Sindh’ and the ‘so-called nationalists’.

“The people of Sindh would not let conspiracies of these so-called nationalists succeed…Sindh’s people from different ethnicities and speaking different languages would protect their land”, said Hussain.
