Ramazan, the holy month of  fasting, is expected to officially begin on Tuesday in Pakistan, though the timing depends on the alignment of the moon. Muslims usually increase their religious activities during this time. -Photos by agencies

fasting is to purify a Muslim, and it is prescribed by Allah for a Muslim, to keep the fasts in Ramazan.
