KARACHI, July 9: Mudassar Arain, secretary, Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) has been elected Secretary General of the South Asian Netball Federation.

The elections were held during a meeting of South Asian Netball Federation at Swiss Hotel in Singapore on July 4.

Madam Tamara of Sri Lanka was unanimously elected president and Mohammad Nizam from Maldives the honorary treasurer.

It was also decided in the meeting that netball will be included in the South Asian Beach Games 2011 to be held in Sri Lanka in August and the South Asian Men’s Netball Championship to be held at Maldives in December.

Pakistan netball team will participate in both events.—Sports Reporter
