LAHORE: Indian officials handed over eight Pakistani prisoners to Rangers at the Wagah Border on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

These prisoners were jailed in different Indian prisons since the past four to six years.

The prisoner exchange program between Pakistan and Indian is underway as a measure to enhance bilateral ties between the South Asian neighbours. In April Pakistan released over 80 Indian prisoners.
