MULTAN: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Friday that the purpose of national reconciliation is to bring economic stability in the country.

He further said that Punjab government will not be destabilised. The Charter of Democracy has been implemented by 80 per cent.

Gilani said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's case was sent to the Supreme Court to bring justice.

To end charges against the founder of the constitution and the nuclear program is government's responsibility, he said.

“Terrorism has been the source of humiliation for Pakistan in the world. The entire country is united against terrorism,” said the prime minister.

Gilani said that floods, energy crisis and terrorism have put pressure on the economy.
