Japan confronted devastation along its northeastern coast on Saturday, with fires raging and parts of some cities under water after a massive earthquake and tsunami that likely killed at least 1,000 people.

An explosion blew the roof off the unstable reactor north of Tokyo, Japanese media said, raising fears of a disastrous meltdown at a nuclear plant damaged in the massive earthquake that hit Japan. – Photos by Reuters

We believe that with the courage and endurance the Japanese nation will stand vigorously in this hour of crises and disaster. We are standing together and will be ready to do whatever we can for the great people of Japan. I pray to Allah almighty to forgive us. Japnese are our fellow human beings and we should support them in every respect in this hour of need.
