ISLAMABAD: A Rawalpindi court on Saturday charged federal minister Babar Awan in a robbery and kidnapping case, DawnNews reported.

Civil judge Sarfraz Hussain heard the case filed in Rawalpindi's New Town police station.

However, the minister has denied the allegations leveled against him.

During the hearing, the court directed that all witnesses should be produced at the case's next hearing.
