PESHAWAR: Army and Sindh stamped their netball dominance as they entered the men’s and women’s event semi-finals of the National Games on Monday.

In the last round of women’s league matches, Sindh beat Punjab 17-14, who in turn beat Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 19-8 and Army routed Balochistan 51-4. The results put Sindh, Punjab, Army and Balochistan in the semi-finals, which will be played on Tuesday.

In the men’s event, Army came out on top against Sindh in a 29-27 thriller, while Sindh beat Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 33-27 and Police beat Punjab 34-24.

Army, Police, Sindh and Wapda entered the men’s semi-finals.
