KARACHI, Nov 24: The Custom's Drug Enforcement Cell has seized about 200 grams of white heroin powder concealed in more than 150 punched buttons stitched to women's coats. According to a statement, the DEC staff intercepted an international courier parcel booked from Lahore for an address in Uganda.

During a further examination, more than 150 such buttons were detached from the coats and were found to be stuffed with white heroin.

The identity card given by the suspect to the private postal authorities for sending the parcel showed his residence to be in Gujranwala. However, the sender had provided an address of Gulberg, Lahore to deceive the law-enforcers, it added.
