ISLAMABAD: FIA has arrested Former Director Hajj, Rao Shakeel, Former director of Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) Adil Mokharh and Former Chairman TCP Abdul Malik for alleged involvement in corruption.

Rao Shakeel was accused of corruption in management of residents during Hajj in Saudia Arabia and a Saudi prince also wrote a letter to Chief Justice Pakistan to inform him about the corruption in the matter.

Adil Mokharh is allegedly involved in corruption of millions in TCP.

Former Chairman of TCP Abdul Malik was arrested in Karachi along with five other officers and a case has been filed against them.

Malik and three other directors of TCP were involved in import of unhealthy wheat in 2008. The wheat was worth billions of rupees. -DawnNews
