KARACHI, Nov 8: Mobilink has posted strong revenues, higher EBITDA and increasing subscriber base in the third quarter of 2010 as compared to the same period last year.

It posted revenue of Rs23 billion for the period under review as compared to Rs21.5 billion for the same period last year, translating into a year-on-year increase of 6.27 per cent.

EBITDA increased from Rs7.7 billion in Q3, 2009 to Rs9 billion in Q3, 2010, registering an increase of 17.8 per cent.

Mobilink subscriber base showed 4.7 per cent growth as compared to closing base of Q3, 2009 closing at 31.44 million at the end of Q3, 2010, says a press release.
