LAKKI MARWAT, Oct 27: A proclaimed offender was killed by his opponents in the limits of Tajori police station, police said on Wednesday.

Police said that the accused Irfanullah and Saddam, residents of Tajori, shot and killed one Samargul in Baqerkhel area and escaped. They said that the killed outlaw was wanted in two murder cases.

Police have registered a case against the two accused and started investigation.

Meanwhile, police have arrested six suspects, included three wanted criminals, in surprise raids and recovered weapons from them. A police official said that a contingent of Tajori police arrested two proclaimed offenders identified as Naeem Khan and Karim Khan in Khankhel Mandazai area. He said that they were wanted in murder and attempted murder cases.

The official said that Tajori police arrested two suspects identified as Zardes Khan and Rehman Gul during raids in Muhammad Khan and Fareedkhel localities. Police have also recovered two kalashnikovs and bullets from them. Separate cases have been registered against the two.

In separate action, a police contingent arrested one Azullah near Baistkhel old railway crossing and recovered a kalashnikov from him.

Separately, Darra Pezu police apprehended one Arab Khan, an accused in attempted murder case, during a raid in Chuharkhel village.—Correspondent
