NEW DELHI, Feb 27 Pakistani gunman Ajmal Kasab, charged by Mumbai police with acts of terrorism that could send him to the gallows, had also been booked for not buying a ticket to enter the railway station where he allegedly massacred dozens of commuters on November 26 last year, local reports said on Friday.

The only alleged terrorist caught alive during the Mumbai attacks, he was photographed at Mumbai`s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, where he had gone with another gunman without a railway ticket, Press Trust of India said.

Kasab and his associate, identified as Mohammed Ismail Khan, have been charged with killing 59 commuters at the busy station. He is said to have been caught by police at Girgaon Chowpatty while his associate was killed during an exchange of fire.

“Kasab has been booked under various acts including Arms Act, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, Explosives Act, Customs Act, Waging war against country and other various sections of Railway Act.

Entering the railway premises without proper ticket is also among the various offences registered against him,” Mumbai`s Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria said.

Though it was a minor offence compared to other offences registered against him, crime branch officials said all these would have to be registered and shown in the charge-sheet together with his other acts of terror. This would indicate that some more charges would be slapped other than the bundle of accusations filed on Wednesday.

The names of Fahim Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed, both Indians, who had allegedly conducted the recce before the attacks, would be included in the main charge-sheet, PTI quoted officials as saying.
