ISLAMABAD Karachi Boat Club (KBC) won the two-day 28th National Rowing Championship which concluded here at the Rawal Lake on Sunday.

KBC rowers proved their supremacy in the national rowing team and individual events as they finished top of the podium with four gold and two silver medals.

All ten affiliated units of the Pakistan Rowing Federation participated in the two-day championship.

In the days first event, lightweight double scull, Pakistan Police clinched a gold medal by clocking 64484 followed by KBC, who claimed silver finishing with a good time of 64627.

Pakistan WAPDA took a bronze by clocking 70226. In the lightweight coxless four, event KBC grabbed a gold finishing with a good time of 63889 while Pakistan WAPDA took silver as by clocking 70130.
