IN recent years it is gratifying to note that education has become a focal point of everyone. The media has consistently been advocating for the availability of educational facilities, especially in remote areas.

The increase in literacy rate is no doubt wholesome, but the fast-growing knowledge of the present age demands more than four skills of reading and teaching. Education of outdated subjects and surface-level knowledge needs drastic changes now and then, so that our young generation may come up to the standard of other Asian countries’ youth in education ability at least.

The damaging state of the economy looks up to education for salvation.

Education hybrid technology is the solution to overcome the decay in development, economy and trade. Electronic technology has entered deep down in the learning of today’s education. Modern changes and advancements in the use of mobile phones and computer studies demands that students must be given technical skills after primary classes. Technical skills or accounting or management is essential at different levels for a better career of students after completing their education. The young mind is fully conversant with the different complex functions of their mobiles and computers.

There is need for a curriculum that could provide recognition and respect after its completion. The curriculum can integrate Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, Urdu and other subjects at the regional level for awareness of our own culture and history, and the social life of different provinces and about their natural resources.

It appears that in the near future all information will rely on using a device for which technical background will be necessary. There is urgent need for careful selection of such technical topics which are vibrant in the global village around us. Education and technology are to remain in step with global advancement.

It is a well-known fact that schools hardly complete their academic days of teaching in the classroom. Our aim must remain only and only to teach the curriculum, the rest hardly matters.
