LAHORE, March 28: Former cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz has announced contesting polls against PTI chairman and cricket legend Imran Khan from a Lahore seat.

Sarfraz has already submitted his nomination from NA-48, Islamabad, on an MQM ticket.

He told a private TV channel here he would file his papers from NA-126 as well from where Mr Khan was also going to contest polls. He was elected to the Punjab Assembly in non-party polls in 1985.

Both the cricketers had jointly represented the country in a number of Tests and ODIs. — Staff Reporter
