ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has strongly condemned a US drone strike in Waziristan which claimed over a dozen lives on Sunday.

In a statement issued by the PTI media center, Imran Khan called upon the authorities to take the nation into confidence about the details and identify those killed in the drone attack.

The PTI chairman said that drone attacks were a violation of international laws and also violated the country's sovereignty.

He said that the government had turned Pakistan into a banana republic and the US authorities were allowed to hit and kill any civilian at will inside Pakistani territory. Imran Khan expressed grief over the loss of lives.
