KARACHI: Rangers detained over 70 people in a targeted operation in Karachi's Manghopir area, DawnNews reported on Saturday.

The detained include 13 individuals suspected of being associated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

A huge quantity of arms was also recovered from the possession of the detained suspects.

The operation began at approximately 5 am on Saturday and over 1,000 Rangers personnel carried out the raids.

Authorities said the operation was conducted on information provided by a man who had been arrested earlier.
