KARACHI: The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) went up to second place in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) on Friday after a 1-0 victory over Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL).

KESC’s victory at the Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad came courtesy Mohammad Rasool’s penalty in the 20th minute and helped them to 30 points, one behind league leaders Khan Research Laboratories (KRL).

Meanwhile, heavy rains in Peshawar forced the abandonment of the game between Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan International Airlines.
