KARACHI, Oct 2: Two ships carrying 56,500 tons of canola seeds and 2,959 tons of chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Three more ships with containers and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Four ships, Fisher-D, Yasa Team, Nalo Wati and Mari, were busy in loading and unloading cement, canola seeds, chemicals and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 39,501 tons comprising 37,402 tons of import and 2,099 tons of export was handled.

Fisher-D Nolo Wati and Mari sailed out.
