LAHORE, Sept 23: PML-Likeminded MNA Kashmala Tariq says her party will contest the next election in alliance with the PML-N.

She was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a 100-bed hospital in Cantonment here on Sunday.

Appealing to the masses to think twice before casting their votes in the next election, she said the country needed honest leadership as only true leaders could steer the country out of crisis. PML-N MNA Khwaja Saad Rafiq said change in the country could come only through ballot.

Referring to the oft-repeated allegation against his party that it helped imposed Asif Zardari on the country, he said the PML-N had joined hands with President Zardari in the hope of better political and economic future of the country but the dream never materialised because the PPP co-chairperson backed out of his promises.

He said had the PPP government implemented the Charter of Democracy, the country would have reached its destination. — Staff Reporter
