Cameron White is not too bothered about Saeed Ajmal, a bowler who made several of his teammates dance in the UAE ODI series that Australia eventually triumphed in.

The former Australia T20 skipper, recalled into the squad for the series against Pakistan, has been out of the international side since October 2011 but feels his experience in the Indian Premier League coupled with a short stint in England will hold him in good stead when he comes across a trio or possibly even a quartet of world class spinners in Ajmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Abdur Rehman and Shahid Afridi.

“Against Pakistan I've had pretty good success,” the 29-year-old said in an interview with AAP.

“Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Abdur Rehman, Shahid Afridi, I've done well against them.

“So I'm going to stick to what I've done previously.”

The “Bear”, as the Victorian player is called by his teammates, last played a decisive innings against Pakistan in the semi-final of the 2010 T20 World Championship, scoring 43 off 31 balls. His return against the same opposition after that was not as impressive, 17 and 7 in the two T20s Pakistan and Australia played in Birmingham the same year.

That is not playing on White’s mind too much, however.

“I feel as though I'm not worried about those guys,” he said.

“In terms of worrying about which way the ball's spinning, I feel as though I don't have too many issues with that. Hopefully they don't make me look silly.”
