RAWALPINDI: Brigadier Ali Khan’s lawyer Inamul Rahiem said that he sent a letter to Army Chief Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, in which he requested to kept his client in an A class prison and asked to provide him with details of his case proceedings, DawnNews reported.

Brigadier Ali was earlier arrested for his alleged involvement in Army General Headquarters (GHQ) attack.

He said that his client has a cardiac issue and has been kept in C-class prison since August 3, 2012.

Moreover, he said that according to the Army Act 283, 284, brigadiers are kept in an A-class cell and his client should be allotted the same.
