ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf joined thousands at the Eid prayers and prayed to Allah Almighty for peace and prosperity of the country.

The premier along with his cabinet colleagues and parliamentarians offered the eid prayers at the Faisal mosque.

He prayed to Allah to shower his blessings and help the nation cope with the numerous internal and external challenges.

He greeted the nation on the joyous occasion and prayed to Allah to make Pakistan a citadel of peace and harmony.

Despite the rain the country's largest mosque was packed to the capacity.
