MUMBAI: Pakistani umpire Asad Rauf has been accused by an Indian model of sexual exploitation, India's NDTV reported.

The model, Leena Kapoor, filed a complaint to the police, in which she says that Asad Rauf had promised to marry her and buy an apartment for her. However, he had told her he was married with children.

They met in Sri Lanka recently and grew close to each other and met frequently during the Indian Premier League. However, Rauf stopped all interaction with Kapoor a few days ago after which she filed the complaint.

Rauf later allegedly told her that he did not know her and did not want any interactions with her. According to the local DCP, after recieving the letter from Kapoor, they would soon launch an inquiry into the matter.

Rauf has denied any relationship with Kapoor and said that the model is pulling this stunt for publicity. He has admitted that the pictures are real but said that there was no relationship and he was only helping Kapoor because of his contacts in Bollywood.
