QUETTA, May 28: Three people were killed and another was injured in an armed clash in Nushkaf area of Kachhi district on Monday.

Levies Force sources said armed men belonging to Raisani and Khosa tribes took positions against each other and opened fire with automatic weapons. The three people killed were identified as Ghulam Hussain, Mohammad Gul and Mohammad Qurban.

The cause of the clash was said to be a land dispute.

Levies Force and Balochistan Constabulary personnel were deployed in the area to avert further fighting.

Meanwhile, a man was killed and two others were injured in Zehri area of Khuzdar district.

Sources said the injured were taken to the Khuzdar district hospital. Another man, identified as Hafiz Jamil Panizai, was killed in Pishin.—Staff Correspondent
