LAHORE, March 24: Legal fraternity has condemned killing of Malir Bar Association former president Salahuddin and his son, Ali Raza, in Karachi and demanded early arrest of the culprits.

Supreme Court Bar Association acting president Imrana Baloch and other members, in a statement on Saturday, condemned the murder of two lawyers and urged the government to arrest the killers and try them under terrorism law. They said nine lawyers had become victim to target killings during the last three months only but the government had failed to protect people’s lives.

The association demanded resignation from the Sindh interior minister for his failure to protect lawyers. — Staff Reporter
