Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that the cause of death for an individual who passed away at Mayo Hospital in Lahore was not coronavirus.

In a tweet, Buzdar said that they had received the individual's test reports.

Earlier, Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmeen Rashid had confirmed the man's death and said that his test results were awaited. She said that the information would be given to the media when it arrives.

Further, CM Buzdar added that Punjab had eight confirmed cases and were being provided with the "best available treatment". This takes the country's tally to 195.
