PESHAWAR: A labourer was killed and three others were injured when an under-construction shop collapsed in the Scheme Chowk area of the provincial capital on Saturday.

Rescue 1122 spokesperson Bilal Faizi said that four labourers were buried under the rubble after the structure collapsed. He said that the rescuers pulled out three labourers with injuries from the rubble, and body of the fourth one. The injured were rushed to the City Hospital on Kohat Road. The injured laborers were identified as Wahid, Rizwan and Sabir Shah, while the dead was identified as Inayat.
