PESHAWAR: Four people, including a woman, were killed over an old enmity in Regi area of the provincial capital on Saturday, police said.

A police spokesperson said five people tried to enter house of a local identified as Ashraf, which triggered an exchange of fire between the rival groups, in which three attackers identified as Aurangzeb, Shakir and Samiullah, and a woman from the other side identified as Shehla were killed.

The official said both the parties had an old enmity. He said that police shifted the bodies to local mortuary and investigations were in progress. He said three pistols and three motorcycles had also been seized from the crime scene.
