KHAR: The activists of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Khar tehsil, on Friday criticised MNA Gul Dad Khan for ignoring party workers and preferring his close relatives in all issues, including development activities.

The lawmaker came under criticism in a meeting of party’s Khar tehsil activists. Senior party workers, including Khista Mohammad, Ayaz Khan and Sirajuddin, briefed the participants and said that Gul Dad

Khan belonged to Barang tehsil, but he obtained most of his votes from Khar tehsil in 2018 general elections.

The participants stated that the MNA had promised with the people of Khar tehsil to visit the region once a month and take the senior citizens on board over various issues, including development activities.

They said that the MNA had failed to fulfil his commitment with them.

The alleged that Gul Dad Khan was ignoring the senior party workers, who had played a big role in his win, in issues related to development activities and the provincial

ministers’ visits to the district.

They said that a number of provincial ministers and other high-ups visited Bajaur during last several months, but the MNA did not invite any party worker of Khar tehsil to the said events.

They said that they would not allow the MNA to award party tickets to his son and family members in the provincial assembly elections in the region.
