VEHARI: Governor Chaudhry Sarwar says that south Punjab province will be founded as per the manifesto of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

“Our main objective is to promote exports and discourage imports to minimize the trade deficit. He said that he was fully aware of deteriorating standard of education in universities.

“Our medical degrees are not accepted abroad. Pakistan needs to work hard to improve education standard if it wants to compete with the world,” he said. He said that he would resolve universities’ issues, including the appointments of vice-chancellors, deans and professors.

He said universities would be put on solar energy.
