PESHAWAR: Security forces killed a terrorist and seized weapons and ammunition in an action in North Waziristan tribal district, Inter Services Public Relations said here on Friday.

In a statement, the ISPR said that the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on a suspected terrorist hideout in Barkelay village of Spinwam tehsil of North Waziristan. The statement said that one terrorist was killed in exchange of fire.

Improvised explosive device making literature, an SMG, hand grenades, spare magazines and communication equipment were also recovered.

The statement did not disclose the identity of the killed terrorist.
