HYDERABAD: A four-year-old boy died allegedly after eating rotten fried potato chips bought from an eatery located in Cantonment area a day before.

The boy identified as Mohammad Umar alias Humayun and his sister Aleeza had consumed the rotten chips their father Abdul Sattar Mallah had bought for them. Immediately, after eating the chips the children’s condition deteriorated and the boy died before getting medical help while his sister was admitted to a charitable hospital where her stomach was being washed.

Sattar Mallah lives near Thermal Power House in Jamshoro and works at the powerhouse.
