MULTAN: A mother and her daughter who arrived at court to attend a murder case hearing in Jahanian, Khanewal, on Saturday morning were shot dead by four motorcyclists.
The deceased were identified as Taj Bibi (55) and her daughter Asma Bibi. They were attacked when they were entering the court for hearing of a murder case of Taj Bibi’s husband.
Hameed Akbar Khan, the son of Taj Bibi, told the police that Naeem Khan, Musharraf and Amir Khalil killed his mother and sister. He told reporters that they had requested the police to provide them security several times but in vain.
