KALAYA: Over 930 more internally displaced families left for their home towns in Mullakhel area of Orakzai tribal district on the second consecutive day on Sunday.

In two days (Saturday and Sunday) a total of 1,864 families have reached their destinations in Mullakhel, the upper tehsil of Orakzai tribal district. The return process would continue until Oct 26.

According to assistant commissioner Haider Hussain, the return process of IDPs started after 10 years. He said 1,864 families had so far returned to Alefkhel Kallay, Star Kallay, Baqar Garhi, Kanz Kallay, Manz Garhi, Oray Kallay in Mullakhle tehsil.

An entry checkpost has been established for the returning IDPs at Yakh Kandaw, where elaborate security arrangements have been made.

However, the returning IDPs complained that the district administration did not provide them relief goods.
