LAKKI MARWAT: A young man was killed by his cousin over a minor dispute in Mela Mandrakhel village here on Friday. The police said Sharifullah shot cousin Hikmatullah dead and escaped.

Complainant Abdul Hamid said his son Hikmatullah and suspect Sharifullah had heated exchanges a day ago.

He said his son was on the way to home along with him after going shopping in a local bazaar when Sharifullah killed him.

The complainant Hikmatullah died of the critical injuries on the way to hospital.

The police said they had handed over the body to relatives after fulfilling medicolegal formalities, registered a case against the suspect, and began a search for him.
