CHARSADDA/NOWSHERA: Two persons, including a retired FC man, were shot dead in separate incidents in Charsadda on Sunday.

Police said a man shot dead his son over a domestic dispute in Shabqaddar area. They said the deceased was identified as Sharif Khan.

Wife of the deceased reported to Saro Kalli police that her father-in-law, Bahadar Khan, killed her husband over a domestic dispute.

Meanwhile, a retired FC man was shot dead in Agra area in the jurisdiction of Prang Ghar police station.

Fazal Majeed, brother of the deceased, reported to the police that Ibne Amin was coming home from a mosque after offering Taraveeh when accused, Mushtaq, opened fire on him killing him on the spot.

Prang police registered case and started further investigations.

Also, a man committed suicide after a bullet he fired at his brother during a brawl, hit and injured his aunt in Jehangira area of Nowshera on Sunday.

A police official said Asad Ali and his brother, Hashmat Ali, argued over a petty issue, adding when Asad pulled out his pistol and opened fire a bullet hit his aunt who intervened to end the brawl, injuring her.

The official said after seeing his aunt injured, Asad shot himself and died on the spot. The police official said relatives rushed the body of Asad and injured woman to the district headquarters hospital, Nowshera. However, the van they were travelling in met an accident due to over-speeding, injuring three persons.

The injured were brought to the hospital wherefrom the wounded woman was referred to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar in critical condition.
