LAHORE: The National U-16 Boys Seven-a-side Rugby Championship will be held here on Oct 21 and 22.
Seven teams — all from Punjab — are competing in this national event as no other province could field its team.
Teams from Lahore, Lodhran, Islamabad, Bahawalnagar, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad and Muzaffarabad will compete in the event to be held at Pakistan Rugby Academy, Airport Road, Lahore Cantt.
Meanwhile, president of the Pakistan Rugby Union Arif Saeed said the National U-16 event was another major step in promoting rugby at the grassroots.
