QUETTA: Issues pertaining to terrorism, drug and human smuggling and bilateral trade relations were discussed during the 20th meeting of the Pak-Iran border commission that began in the Iranian port city of Chabahar on Sunday.

Balochistan Chief Secretary Saifullah Chattah is leading Pakistan’s delegation and Deputy Governor of Sistan-Baluchestan Ali Asghar Mirshikari is heading his country’s team in the meeting that will continue on Monday.

According to officials, issues with special reference to border violation were discussed on the first day.

The Pakistani delegation took up the incidents of firing of rockets and mortar shells from Iranian border into adjoining towns.
