RAWALPINDI: An army soldier was injured in firing by terrorists from across the border in Mang­rotai, South Waziristan Agency.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the injured soldier was evacuated through a helicopter to a medical facility in Wana, the agency’s headquarters.

Army troops targeted terrorists’ positions on the Pak-Afghan border.

Meanwhile, army troops seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation in Shirrani village of Datta Khal in North Waziristan Agency on Sunday.

According to the ISPR, the seized weapons were stocked by terrorists.
