LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) Chief Executive Officer Syed Wajid Ali Kazmi suspended on Monday three officials from service for flouting safety precautionary measures and procedures during work.

According to a spokesman, those suspended from service are assistant engineer Zahid Pervaiz, sub-station operator (grade-1) Rana Rasheed and a sub-station operator (grade-2).

The officials were stationed at the 132-kV grid station of Okara. The Lesco chief warned the officials to either follow the safety measures or face action.
