“No ‘Cursed Child’ movie plans,” says Rowling

It was rumoured that the two-part play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie from the franchise Harry Potter is in works with the original Harry Potter stars.

If you have been rejoicing at the thoughts of seeing your favourite actors again in the same way, then we don’t have good news for you because J.K. Rowling has four little words to say regarding the rumour, “This. Is. Not. True.” the writer tweeted, along with a screenshot of an article trumpeting the news.

“I know a lot of people are looking for reasons to be cheerful today, but there is NO TRUTH to the rumour about a #CursedChild movie trilogy!” another post from the Potter creator insisted.

Sorry fans!

A new entrant in the Black Eyed Peas band?

There is a lot of buzz that Nicole Scherzinger has joined the band Black Eyed Peas, to replace former singer Fergie.

The band have been on an indefinite hiatus while the members, Fergie, will.i.am, Apl.deAp and Taboo, all work on individual projects, and now it sounds like it’s time for them to get back together — and as Fergie is too busy working on her solo music, they’ve recruited Nicole instead.

Nicole was spotted leaving Los Angeles with a band-mate from Black Eyed Peas. Before Fergie joined the band in 2003, Nicole was approached to be a member but she was already under contract with a band called Eden’s Crush (formed on the USA version of Popstars in 2001) and couldn’t join.
