This should be appreciated, however the correct path is that it should be for a limited term of 10 years. In the meanwhile the Govt. should mobilize all resourced to ensure that every child, no matter of religion or caste or rural and urban divide, receive equal right to health and education.
Oh my Pakistan, what were you destined to be and what have you turned out into.

This is not appreciated and will be exploited by only the influential minorities. Please note that the lower caste citizens are castrated even by the high caste Hindus in Sindh, and there is a 100% chance their concerns will not be voiced. It would be better if poor people in remote areas are given this opportunity so they can improve their lively hoods. People from places like Tharparkar or Shikarpur.

@Gerry D - it's a good move. the minority should be taken into confidence and provided equal rights irrespective of the fields. In fact, there should not be any kind of discrimination nationwide between majority and minority for education, health and employment. Then only - a nation will grow. They are your people - treat them equally!

It will be a correct policy for an Islamic country to give equal rights to minorities in health, education, employment and social dignity.Even JAZIA can be abolished. The second caliph had abolished JAZIA for Christians.Even the Jazia imposed by Aurangzeb had been abolished by his son king Moazam.Jazia lasted for only about sixty years. It was mostly because of Qandhar wars,Decan wars etc. etc.Muslim on the other hand always paid ZAKAT,Sadqa and other taxes.Justice, equality and fair play should be the distinguishing mark of MUSLIM societies for all kinds of citizens.Equality Zindabad.
