Official shunted for release of Modi’s college details

NEW DELHI: An information officer who ordered the Delhi University to release details of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s college degree has been shunted from his education ministry charge, reports said on Thursday.

Information Commissioner M. S. Acharyulu had ordered earlier this week that the university release the alleged 1978 BA degree records. Now Chief Information Commissioner R. K. Mathur has taken away the charge of Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) from him.

According to an order issued on Tuesday evening, all complaints and appeals related to the HRD ministry will now be looked into by another Information Commissioner Manjula Parashar, Indian Express said on Thursday.

It said the latest order came just days after another order on Dec 29 on allocation of work in which Acharyulu had retained the HRD ministry.

Many Indians are submitting fake degrees and bank statements to get visas to go to Arab gulf countries, Europe and US and many have been arrested and deported from those countries.,

@Raj .... .. Reality has taught important lessons to the Syrians, Iraqis, Iranians, Libyans, Lebanese, Egyptians and the Palestinians. ...and to Germany, Japan, China and Russia. You don't need a degree if you don't want one. However - experience alone teaches people only one lesson - that Life is hard enough without making stupid mistakes and making our lives even harder. In general, people who finish college with a degree have a plan for their lives. At least they are starting out with a plan.

@Houlbelat there is limitation for RTI..you cant seek whole entertainment including missile teçhnology too, coz you dint have any work and someone pays you to just to query under RTI

@Syed he never lied it. There was an old interview he already said that. He doesn't went to college he only appeared the exam as a private student. RTI not apply everywhere. By law university has write not to disclose someone's personal data.
