IT is obligatory for us to treat transgenders with due respect. It is a sin to mistreat them. They can be a productive force and live with some dignity if trained in some skills.
Training in cookery may be a good beginning. Many, like some Mughals, would prefer a transgender cook in a family than a man. Furthermore, a transgender is likely to be more loyal and long-lasting than many male cooks who keep on changing masters.
